
A pre-lien notice is not required as in some other states. A mechanic’s lien is not required by anyone with a direct contract with the owner. Others seeking payment must file. The deadline is 120 days within the last work by anyone on the project. Engineers have lien rights. MRSA Title 10 § 3255
